I ended up buying the Sennheisser DX 202. It's actually quite good for the price. Good bass. It's not specialized for gaming since it's a DJ version but really, it still surprised me. Bought it only for 30 dollars and I didn't think it would sound this good. Really nice.

Dx? I tried looking them up and could only find HD202 ???

No matter Sennheisser has always been great stuff. And anymore I am finding except for Big Lot's "Genuine Cony" brand stuff headsets & headphones have sure come a long way these days...

oh, Big Lot's is a super cheap chain of stores that sells lots of remaindered or brand-x stuff...so it's a blast to wander the isles seeing what they might have any given week...

just thought I would explain the joke because I forgot you are in Thailand... ;)

Haha. You were right by the way. I misread it pretty badly. It's not DX 202. It's HD 202. So far I'm very satisfied with it. I was able to save a lot because my budget was somewhere near 100.

;) Thanks I was thinking I had gone through an "almost a senior" moment...

I like headphones because the let me block out the backgound din. I actually opted for a pair of in ear ear plugs, Koss Spark Plug. I ended up with two pair and really like them, and not simply because they are CHEAP but comfy and give really nice sound for my ear...I am not near any sort of audiophile. ;) I think I paid around $12/pr on eBay last year. Traditional headphones often give me that ear pain thing...must be that big fat head I have... ;)

    Good choice for the price.
