I spotted this in a magazine from Hong Kong today along with a review of the ASUS G70 ( see asus section)...this thing is ridiculus, 25cm fan?!?!!? Thats right 25cm...after a search on google I found it listed on the Enermax France site but no where else...below is the link and some pics.

Wow..that would do wonders for my c90s. I want.
-
Great find Johnny!
I definitely wouldn't mind having this... -
wow, and the price is...? seems like it could blow in good speed
-
Oh yeah sorry forgot about the price LOL!
HKD$295
USD$37.8
GBP£19.2
It says on the site that the fans are 850rpm on high setting. -
Wow, it's pretty expensive, considering most of the fan here are priced only around $5-7 (though they only got 2 or 3 blowers). But gotta keep this in my shopping list, seems like a pretty powerful fan indeed!
-
Where abouts do you live? I consider that price as pretty standard for a notebook cooler. Considering the NC-1000 is $50...
-
Wow good stuff thats a massive fan! it must make abit more noise than the usual coolers
-
WOW the fan is massive >.< looks very noisy though...
-
i highly doubt that fan is noisy, its 25cm at a low RPM and only running on 5v.
i would enjoy owning that cooler, it seems like everywhere BUT the USA gets these types of coolers. -
-
Ar I see fair enough!
I own a NotePal Infinite...
-
that is just... INTENSE!! too bad it doesn't have an extra USB port. Can't wait to see how it stacks up against the Notepal's and the NC1000/2000 (which seems to be the current champ here on this site)
-
looks like its gonna make your notebook hover in the air haha
godzilla fan!
probably sounds like a helicopter landing nearby -
where can i get one of these?
-
another country probably
-
dammit, i want one of these!
-
If anyone knows where I can acquire one of these in Shanghai, it'd be greatly appreciated or anywhere in China as I can get it delivered and sent to work. Here for a month.
If, not then I guess I'll wait until I get back to the US and get a Zalman's NC2000 but would really like to try one of these puppies first.
Thanks in advance. -

get one of those and make your own xD -
I bet this thing is nice and quiet, and probably would last longer then the normal hyperspeed fans too, since the RPMs are lower. That'd be sweet to have. Plus, if you take off the grill, you could probably chop vegetables with it too.
-
-
It looks like plastic >.< alsmost like a childs fan
-
Seems like this cooler has finally hit the US. Found it here for $70USD. http://www.directron.com/cp001b.html And it's now listed on the Enermax US site. I guess I'll pick one up when I get back to the US in 2 weeks time.

Hi
Can you find a metal one?
Rgds
-
I think it will make my Notebook Float in Air... rite?
-
I can't wait for the test figures on this thing. $70 is kinda pricey though considering the price point of the proven competitors on the market.
-
The Enermax cooler posted is a rebranded recom 25 cm fan based laptop cooler, which came out over a year ago.
That fan will not make your system float. You need at least 1000cfm to lift an average weight system up off the ground.
If you want a metal fan with a 25cm dimension, get one of these:
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=P41GyhEsKL5wEhMHPOnWGw%3d%3d
This one can be had for $155 and it is 606cfm.
Oh yeah, it takes 80 watts of power, so you cant use USB as a power source
There is nothing like a PAPST.

Rpms may be low, but tips speeds are still high, so it could still be loud. I bet it's pretty loud at full tilt, but can quietly push lots of air at lower speeds.
Would this thing be able to run off of usb power, or will it need to be plugged into the wall? -
I'm still waiting for a review on this. Anyone buy one of these?
-
-
I am considering the Zaman NC2000 though. I just want to be sure before I buy it.
And I actually got a Razer DeathAdder for $24 at Circuit City already. -

Still I would like to see a review
-
i took a look at this cooler today, i was going to pick it up until i saw with my own eyes that this cooler does NOT fit a 17" widescreen like it claims. it runs short about an inch and a half on both sides.
To me it would just look strange and could possibly tip the notebook over. its build quality and looks were really nice. I decided ill be going with the nc2000; too bad this one is pretty nice looking. -
wow nice... dayum...

I just ordered one from http://www.xoxide.com/enermax-aeolu...-alum-nbcooler-250mmfan-black&channelid=FROOG for $72.99 with a $20 mail-in-rebate but I have serious doubts that they'll give the rebate but worth a try.
-
Well I hope to hear some feedback from the people who have ordered it. I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.

I would also like a review.

sorry enermax didnt do anything new and if anything just copied this one so, color me not impressed.
Also build quality and design is much better on the CRF-102
Product Page: http://www.digitalcowboy.jp/products/crf-102/index.html
Things to note: adjustable tilt, folds flat, 2 colors, solid build, multiple usb ports.
Thread Here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=201525 -
Wow that cooler looks awesome
-
yes it should be less noisy that other fans as sicne it is bigger it can push more air at lower rpm that smaller fans that need to spin fater to make the same effect

The Aeolus is rated 17-20 dba so its the same in sound levels, 650-850 rpm so it actually spins faster even tho its a bigger blade (and only slightly larger you make it out to be a much larger blade) and they didnt even give us the CFM stat for the Aeolus and I can tell you from personal and professional experience that they almost always only do not give you stats when its to there disadvantage to do so, otherwise they give you every little detail they can when it is clearly better than other products.
Plus me personally only use my cooling pad to cool my laptop as a secondary function, its the tilt it gives me to type on that is most important. -
So, where can we get one in US?

Thanks Johnny T.
