I plugged it back in tonight and my Presario 2100 does not read it. Is there a function key that I need to use to enable the keyboard?

it is very possible for there for there to be a Fn that you need to enter. for example, at my school, there are smartboards and in order to plug a notebook into the smartboard (and to make it funct. properly) you must hit Fn+F3 two times. try looking at the icons on the function keys, maybe there will be one with a keyboard on it.
