I put in my flash card into my digital camera and I get this screen that says "Memory card requires formatting"

I click Continue and then it says... "Formatting will delete everything on memomry card" Ok, so I click Continue and then it says it's formatting, but it says there's an error....

After it says that, it repeats the process and says "memory card requires formatting etc....."

And I click continue, but it's not doing it for some reason. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I just got the memory card and the card I got is the one in the link below...

Try putting the card in your notebook via the card reader and formatting it from My Computer (right-click device, format). Alternatively you could hook the camera up to the computer via USB and format it the same way.

Something quick to check, is the "lock" tab on the card engaged?
