I am going to probably buy an Everglide Mat pretty soon, but I'm not totally sure if it's worth it.
For reference, I recently (one week ago) bought a Deathadder and I love it, but I can't help but feel that there is some occasional skipping due to the friction that my current mat (some non-cloth freebie mat) has and the force I have to apply to move it from a stationary position, resulting in a jerking motion.
Does anyone have experience with Everglide or any other nice cloth mats? I'm not looking for some ridiculously huge mat or an extremely expensive one (try to keep it under $20, preferably $10-$15) but I'd like one that's pretty decent.
Also, I'm thinking about getting some mouseglidez, since they have some specifically made for the Deathadder and there have been some complaints about the height of the original feet. Anyone have any experience with these?

I use my French textbook as my mousepad, the booksock on it makes for some serious accuracy. I have a G5 by the way.

I currently have one of these for my desktop: http://www.everglide.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=14&Itemid=42
Its the right size for me and stays in place. My mouse (Logitech G5) glides nicely on it. My only complaint is that it gets dirty easy and difficult to clean. -
You bought deathadder.. congrats.. the best mat for it is Razer Mantis.. Mantis comes in two flavours.. Mantis Control (for low sensitivity players) & Mantis Speed (for high sensitivity players)

Just tape a piece of wax paper to a piece of flat metal. Or if you don't have acess to metal, use a piece of smooth cardboard, like from a shoebox or something. Then you can use your $10-$15 to take your significant other to a movie.

I used the top of a jordan shoebox, the wax paper side is for more accurate movement, and the glossy side with the jordan logo for quick movement.
