Everki titan, Beacon, or some other 18.4 inch backpack?

I need a very large backpack. I have a clevo P670RP6 which is 16.5 x 11 x 1.5 inches. I'd like to fit it in a backpack that has a dedicated laptop compartment preferably with some padding and that is a little larger than the laptop so I can keep it in a neoprene sleeve that I have.

It would be great to find a backpack that can fit a change of clothes and some tennis shoes in it. I see the titan and beacon. Can anyone make a recommendation as to which or possibly some other backpack might be better?

I've looked a tons of possibilities but many on amazon have quite a few reviewers complaining about the backpacks they tried failing in various ways. The everki beacon and titan are 2 where that isn't a common complaint plus there's a good warranty. I'd be happy to consider other brands if someone knows of something reliable.

My current backpack is a Ful free fallin. It is great, very well made, and has lasted over 8 years but just doesn't fit this giant laptop.

    Overall list of desired features:
-Large laptop sleeve with a bit of extra space so a sleeve fits or plenty of built in padding then it wouldn't need to have the extra space
    -Has a pocket for folders/books
-Has a pocket for pens and other tiny things
-Can fit a change of clothes and some tennis shoes (it would be nice if this was a separate pocket)
-Some water resistance and/or a rain cover
-A water bottle holder would be nice but if not possible then the bottle could go in another pocket

I just bought a Everki Titan and my GT73VR fits perfectly. I had a Targus Drifter for my older GT70 but wanted more space for my new laptop. The Targus was also falling apart in several spots. The Titan is built to a whole different standard and although I have only had it for 14 days I can tell it will hold up much better. According to your list it should do just fine. I'll try to post up some pics later.

The specs for my laptop are 16.85" x 12.36"x 1.76", it fits the sleeve but I added some of padding to the bottom as van drivers are constantly handling my backpack and "putting it down gently" doesn't always register. Notice the white material at the bottom, it's part of the packing foam it was shipped in.

There is a ton of room that is organized nicely, the compartments aren't flimsy like I have seen in other backpacks making them more useful of accessing the bag with one hand.

This is the one I got:

It is very durable, the handles are sturdy despite the heavy weight of the laptop with the charger, it doesn't feel like the handles are going to break if you hold it from only one of them. I have walked in light rain as well while having the backpack on and the laptop wasn't wet so that's another plus point.

Speaking of storage, you can store your entire room in there (not literally) but you have so many pockets / sections it's super roomy and convenient.

PS: It costs an arm and a leg but hey, it's the best out there and this beast deserves nothing but the best.

I have the Beacon, not as practical as far as storage organization is concerned, but that backpack has been intensive use for over 4 years now. It has barely any wear on it, so far it's the only laptop bag I have that has lasted for more than a year and a half.
