I have an Asus A8JS and a set of Klipsch 2.1 pro media speakers and I'd like to purchase a sound card. These two seem to be my best options. I realize one is a usb interface and the other is ExpressCard, either work for me. I'll be using it solely for listening to music (.mp3s). Which one would be best for me?

Also, do I need anything else to plug in my speakers to these? I heard something about a "docking station" for the X-Fi, what is that for?

I used to use the X-Fi but I thought it was annoying having a one inch block sticking out of the side of my laptop at all times. I finally got rid of it and stopped caring about sound quality because I couldn't hear the difference from the X-Fi and my oem soundcard. Keep in mind though that I almost always used headphones. In short, I would recommend the Live! since you will be using it for external speakers.
