    Hi guys,
I've just received a ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook which works with the Expresscard54 connector.

Unfortunately I've just found out that my MacBook pro only has an ExpressCard 34 port.

I've searched around for some kind of ExpressCard 54 to ExpressCard 34 adaptor but with no luck.

Do you have any advice to make the Sound Blaster X-Fi work on my MacBook?

    Thank you!

    Thank you stewie.
I was buying on Amazon the Siig adapter when I read this:

"This adapter only works with USB-based ExpressCard devices. PCI-Express based ExpressCard devices will not be detected. Please check with your device manufacturer if you are not certain."

How can I know if the ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme is PCI-Express or USB based?

I've searched online but I found no information about it.

    Any advice?

eek... sorry I missed that, good catch.

I'm afraid the ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme is PCI-Express based according to some sites. :/
