    Hi there!

    I am looking for the best External DVD Drive that is USB Powered and as small as possible (keeping it in within a good price range) that I can use to plug in to my new laptop.

    I have just bought an HP Envy 15 and that laptop comes with no external hard drive, unless you order it, which was $75.

    So basically I am looking for a good, reliable, eOD for my laptop than I can get for less than 75 that is small and USB powered only. I dont want a plug for it, since I dont like cable. (and if it has the extra perks as extra USB connections in the back, even better).

    Help please?

    That is why I asked, thanks for pointing it out.
    I did say on the OP USB powered and it was strange to me that it said that, so I was confirming.

    No hold on, it comes with an AC adapter but ONLY required if you don't have a powered usb port. I simply plug it into my laptop with only one usb port, no ac adapter required.
