I wasan't sure if this goes here or in the hardware/aftermarket upgrades section but since its not an internal one I'm guessing it goes here.

Anyway I'm thinking of buying an external hard-drive to back up my laptop. Two that I'm looking at right now are:
    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152230
    and
    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136505

They seem like really good deals since both are 100$ and are 1.5TB

If you have any other suggestions I am wide open. Mainly I am looking for a hard drive to be around 1TB space so (between 750GB-1.5TB) and it shouldn't be a lot over 100$.
    Thanks

I recommend you go with the WD external hard drive as it has a 5 egg average review. This is with 68 users vs only 5 with the Samsung. Note that the samsung does come with 3 yrs of warranty instead of 1 year with the WD.

In the end it also comes down to personal favorites.

I'd recommend the WD Hard Drive as well. Personally, I think it is a really good brand with quality products. It depends on which brand you trust more though.

I would also recommend WD external hard drive for its large capacity. I also saw some positive reviews about it on Amazon and other sites. All the best!
