I'm trying to find a good eSATA enclosure for my SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1. No search features, so I can with no guilt, post this question here! :p

With Google I can only find single-reviews nothing comparing or bringing pros/cons compared to other enclosures.

I would personally suggest the Vantec 3.5" NexStar 3 enclosures. eSATA and USB, about $35 on NewEgg.

I have several Vantec Nexstar enclosures and they work great.

Also, look at Apricorn enclosures. They have a fan where the Vantec doesn't.

I recommend the Vantec Drive Docks if you know you'll never carry it around with you. Just plug in the drive and you're all set. Makes it easy to use a different drive should that ever be the case.

I am totally in love with this one. Its a bit bigger than the rest, but includes a whisper quiet fan to keep the drive cool. It even includes an internal to esata plate for a desktop if needed.
