    External Hard Drive Limit Hub Port Issue

    Could you explain that a bit more "Understandably" as I don't know what your problem is...

    I use HUB ports (2 of them, 7 ports each, one connected to the other :D)

    Maximum I had - 3HDDs (1 2,5" HDD can't reach the powered hub...) and 2 Flash drives, plus USB soundcard also a flash fdrive - all works fine off 1 USB port.
    (CD/DVD drive on same port, didn't try using it at the time though)

    idk wat is going when i plug my external HDD it said that, any i dont have any other thing plug in at the same time. I plug it in a different laptop but seem the laptop doesnt recognize the hard drive. Could the cable be broken? There is some light show that the Hard Drive is still working fine. Maybe its the port on the hard drive was broken ???????

    It could be a bad cable, a bad driver, a bad HDD....

    A light on the HDD says nothing about the condition the HDD is in.
