    Hey all,

I currently have a LaCie FA Porsche 250Gb external hard drive setup. It is too small and not very fast so I would like to update. I am looking at a 3.5" drive with esata and usb with a capacity of 750GB to 1TB. I have done some looking and I have narrowed it down to the LaCie d2 Quadra, the LaCie Neil, or a custom setup. I am a LaCie fan due to their reliability and name. I would like to stick to 3.5" just because there are no 2.5" 7.2k500 drives out yet, but that still lingers in my mind due to the limited power signature and awesomely small size. Back on topic, after reading a couple posts, the Western Digital Cavier Black 1TB seems to be the drive to have at the moment. It is something like $30 more dollars than the 640 GB and also has the larger cache size. I am uncertain as to what case to put with it. As long as it has esata, usb, and is less than the d2 1TB ($215) I am game...just can't find any great reviews on the cases.

Any suggestions as to what pre-built or hdd/case combo to get would be awesome. Thank you for your time.
