    clickable link :)

I had a generic enclosure like that once, and it got really hot, and the vibration damping wasn't too good. I eventually returned it.

That is definately a good deal. I got a Seagate 160GB, 7200 rpm, 8MB cache hard drive and put it in an external enclusure for about $80. The only thing I would be a little worried about is that I have never heard of Beyond Micro before. It seemed to have nice reviews though regardless of the brand. I also doubt there is any catch to it, sometimes TD has really good prices on certaint items. I have ordered from them twice and have been satisfied. Personally, I would probably opt to go for a name brand drive though, even if it is a little more, or has a little less space.

I can almost guarentee you that that drive has one of the cheapest versions of a maxtor HD inside that case which is not something you want if you actually want to backup your data. Tiger Direct is also NOT a good company to order from, they may be legit, but their customer service and return policies are horrble if something is not right with your order. If you want to go reasonably cheap try putting something together yourself. Plus you get a 5 year warranty on the drive.
