I'm going back to law school pretty soon. It was damn tough. And I'm desperately going to need some creature comforts to survive semseter 2 of
    1l year.

Anyways, I want a normal desktop keyboard which can be attached to my laptop to play Starcraft. I didn't play it at all for the past 4 months, and I would like to start again.

    I have a latitude D830.

I just want a normal desktop keyboard with nice raised buttons which I can press easily.

    Please help.

lol i quit gaming totally when I entered school. there was just no time and in my free time i would rather go hang out than stay in the room. But if you insist, why not just get one of those cheap ps/2 to usb adapters and use an old keyboard thats laying around?

Yeah, but that adapter would prob. cost about as much as an off-brand USB keyboard. You arnt looking for anything fancy(or expensive, right?) so you might as well just go to a mom and pop computer shop and ask for their cheapest USB keyboard. You'll prob. get a beige, chinese brand piece of crap, but it'll be more then addiquit... Esp. for a RTS game like starcraft.

The adaptor is $2.99 USD at Fry's

I'd like to see a keyboard for $3

If I were, I'd switch from gaming to boozing, you've still got 5 semesters to go and Starcraft isn't going to help you forget the pain.
