So, I have an ACER 5021, as shown in my signature. Will this screen work with it:

The whole input/output complexities of desktops is something I haven't visited in a while.
Thanks

Yes it should work fine. The LCD has a VGA port. Even if it didnt you can use a converter. Also your graphics card should handle the added resolution well. I suggest you get Ultramon. The extended taskbar is amazing. Cant live without it

What does it doo......this Ultramon?
Thanks for telling me, now to tell myself £200 is worthwhile -
Normally windows cannot stretch a taskbar onto 2 monitors. You can with Ultramon. I had a LG L204WT (also 20in widescreen) with a Eizo Flexscan L66 set up with Ultramon. I took it down since Ultramon doesnt support Vista yet and really miss it. Anyway to make it simple I usually use it when doing homework and music. I have my homework (pdf file given by professor and word for writing the answers) side by side on my LG. On my other monitor I have my music playing, IM out etc. On the main screen I only see two tabs (Adobe for pdf and word). On the other LCD the taskbar is independant thus I see the other application im running. Basically you get two desktops that shrae 1 start button and desktop icons. Everything else is independant.
