Price is the watchword here, I'm looking for a solid external USB DVD-RW drive for my Lenovo X61 for installs/etc.

Any suggestions? I'm looking for a good quality/price ratio. Portability is a plus, if it's a good deal, but by no means necessary, I won't ever be using it while traveling.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Great, that makes two of us then. Except full-size X61 here.

I bought a really nice DVD burner on sale at CompUSA for $7 and a $15 enclosure for the drive. Works well.

Ironically though Im considering just buying the base. Not for the optical bay but for the ease in just popinig the notebook in or out instead of having to hook up alot of stuff.
