    Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with external cooling fans for laptops? How useful are they if working in the tropics? Any advice on what specifically to look out for?

I understand the basic concept: laptop's internal fan keeps machine cool so as not to overheat/burnout and thus to run more efficiently.

Your advice would be much appreciated.
