    Good afternoon to everybody,

I apologize for my bad English.

I have to spend more than three months in a small town in India. There we will have power cuts. I don't want to dammage my new Eee pc 1005HA. I would like to know what is the best way to fill the battary (is there an external device to feel "outside" the notebook ?).

I have been told about battery who died quickly. Is it the truth ? If yes I will have to buy a second battery before going there.

    Thanks for your answer

    Wish you a nice weekend,

    yatri

Another option you could look into is getting a UPS (or two). They're meant for desktops but they are basically batteries for desktops. Even one in the 50-60 USD range should be able to charge a notebook for a good couple of hours, plus you can run other devices off of it as well.

If that's a netbook, then you could probably go all day on a UPS.

    Thank you, Blaze-Senpai,

I will look for UPS (or ASI in french).

Las Vegas ? Waouh ! I spent there three or four days in 1994. Five black-jack tables, five good tables. A dream.

    Wish you a nice weekend
