I've recently begun a search for the fastest 32GB flash drive around. Google has been my friend in finding the appropriate benchmarks, and so far I have come across 2 choices:

    • OCZ Rally 2
    • Patriot XT Xporter
A 32GB flash drive would have me set for quite a long time, i just need the fastest available to be content :)

If anyone can help guide me, it'd be much appreciated

I don't have any benchmarks for transfer speeds but I do own a 32GB Patriot XT Xporter. I've had it for almost a year and it has yet to fail me. I use it to transfer music files to whole movies daily and it's pretty quick. So you'll be content from a durability standpoint, no problems.

On the flip side, I recently purchased an OCZ Rally2 16GB thumbdrive for about $30. This is my second OCZ flash drive, the first being a measly 2GB Rally which lasted me about four years. The 16GB Rally2 is very fast, I love that it's got an aluminum casing, and the included neck strap is really nice.

Anyway, know that OCZ is well-known for their memory products and that they have excellent customer service and support. Their warranty isn't too bad on their products ether... lifetime has it's perks! :D

Personally, I would get the Rally2, you won't be sorry.

Thanks for both your responses :)

After further research, I think I'll be going with the Rally2.

I found that the Rally2 has average speeds of 30 read and 12 write, which is the highest Ive found so far. Lifetime warranty is also a nice perk to have.

    Thanks again :]
