    Hi guys,

    I've heard it's between the BW-16D1HT and Pioneer BDR-209DBK?

This is like comparing Apples to Oranges...no one drive is better or has more features then the others - what you should look for is does it have the features and specs you need fore and foremost to fit your needs.

You want Panasonic brah (Pioneer is preferred for external). But you didn't list the enclosure size?

Nevertheless, they offer the most options and the fastest write speeds. The last time I checked, 2X blu-ray is as fast as it gets.

    Hi,

Can you give me a link to any in particular?

The ones, I've mentioned in my opening post can burn up to speeds of 16.

Not blu-ray. Most likely referring to CD and/or DVD.

And you still did not post the size?

    Hi Kane,

It's referring to Blu-ray actually. I've gone with the Pioneer BDR-209DBK. Size doesn't bother me providing it's fast.
