What are your favorite headsets (wired and with microphone)? Which ones would you say are the best, in terms of:
comfort (very important, I will probebly be using it hours on end),
sound quality (thats what I am using it for)
and to a lesser extent price (must be <$100)?

I thought a lot about the PC150, but I am afraid that the ear cups do not close your ears. So it means that they push on your ears. The reason why I didn't purchase it.
Now I am looking to the PC160. The Icemat Siberia looks great but was broken after 2 weeks according to my friend. And the Medusa 5.1 also broke... all weird things. -
Hmm the icemat siberia looks pretty nice, I'm not too tough on my headsets so I don't think that I'd break it, unless it is exceptionally fragile...
Only problem is that I would require a microphone, preferably a built in mic.
The Medusa is a little pricy for me, but not to bad. -
I got these about 6 months ago and have really liked them. I game for several hours with them and use them on voice comms. The mic has always been clear and the sound is really nice.

They're primarily designed for gaming, but I'm quite partial to the Steelsound 5H... excellent sound stage and the retractable microphone is pretty slick.

I'm using some Sony Dynamic Stereo Headphones (MDR-V150) and while they have no mic they work great for music and gaming where no VOIP is required or not used.
Best $25 headphones ever. -
I like the Turtle Beach HPA2 gaming headset with 5.1 surround sound.
