A friend of mine just called me up and he was looking for an 8gb flash memory stick from Dubai. He said that he found an 8gb stick for 90$, the brand was either everon or feveron. I've never heard about them nor is it googleable. Any help? Maybe it was everton or everex or something.

Hmmm....I've never ever heard of the brands. As you mention, a Google search was fruitless.

Probably a generic branding OEM company.

Perhaps they meant Foveon, although they're primarily into imaging sensors for digital cameras.
