Hello everyone. I have an Asus F9S, which is a 12" laptop.
Just today, I bought myself a Logitech Wave, keyboard and mouse combo for home use, just to make it easier to type when at home. I decided to why stop here, when I can also buy a monitor for my laptop so that whenever I am at home, I will be able to close the lid of my laptop and just tuck it away and mainly use the add on keyboard/mouse and a bigger monitor.
This is what I am looking for in my monitory:
1) Cost of $100-$200 not including s&h
2) 19" widescreen (willing to settle for 17")
3) Nice sharp images that is good for text processing and light gaming
Right now, I've found a few Acer monitors but I am a bit held back from buying them since I've stopped liking their PCs.Do they have any quality in their monitors?
Thanks!

Their monitors I find are a good "all-round" monitor.

I have a 20 inch acer. Great monitor. Acer has really got it right with monitors. They're nothing amazing, but they're very good for the price, stable, will last a while and get the job done.

Thanks! I bought that Acer 20" LCD from newegg that was for $170. It was suppose to come in today, but it was labor day, so I should see it tomorrow.
Can't wait! I'll post some pics of my set up with it.
