    Hello,

I've been looking for a nice mouse that could suit a fingertip grip style.
I'm coming from a 2011 (?)(Not sure tbh) razer orochi, which is actually great in terms of comfort and size (maybe a tiny bit too small) and a decent performer, given the bonus wireless capabilities.

I'm looking for a nice replacement, which will be used a lot and which I would like to take on the go. It's going to be used with a cloth mousepad (goliathus speed).

The 2013 orochi is an option, although I was thinking that perhaps I could find a better choice (specially for the money).

The logitech G502 proteus core looks very tempting, but I don't know if the size would be too much for me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Chris.

The Cooler Master Spawn mouse is a decent choice. It's cheap, light, and the shape is good for finger grip. I used one of those for 3 years, recently moved to a Corsair M65, which is definitely the bigger mouse.

M45 > M65 because of the optical sensor (though the M45's implementation of the 3310 is being criticized as laggy by people)

I would recommend you look at the G302 or G100s (2nd rev, with 0ms smoothing).

Thanks for the input! The g302 got me really interested. I'm going to try to test it in a shop so that I can decide myself if it's good for me.
The m45 also looks really nice, but I've also heard bad things about it, so I don't know..

I can say with certainty that the G502 proteus core is a pretty decent mouse for a variety of grip preferences. The main differences between it and the G302 are the (minor) variances in grip, and complexity. The G502 has a grip with more texture than the G302, and the controls are a bit more involved. Honestly, I only have a few points of contention with the G502. The button for sniping is a bit easy to hit, and the button for general cursor speed changes is too difficult to hit sometimes. You can't go wrong either way, but try to hit a Best Buy and get them in your hand. Good luck!

although its not advertised as a fingertip mouse, the razer deathadder makes a great fingertip or hybrid mouse.

i came from the (non-gaming) logitech anywhere mouse and the deathadder felt right for my slightly large hands.

try to get a feel of the mouse by playing around with a demo, although this wont give you 100% feedback as you really need to use a mouse for weeks to see if it works or not.

I'd be interested in how you get on m8. I have a 2013 Orochi and think it's great. Only problem is one of the side buttons broke :-( I contacted Razer, but they wanted me to ship it to Germany! I took it apart and super glued the button back in place instead. It's been fine since but does put a ? over it's build quality :-(
