    Has anyone tried this gadget? It looks promising. Makes battery life on transcontinental/intercontinental/transatlantic/transpacific/etc flights less of an issue.

    BTW Business class in Amtrak trains has a power plug outlet which is nice. Any suggestions for a compact surge protector?

    This product has been discussed in detail several times, always ending with several people recommending it. So I'll cut to the chase, it's good, just be sure you don't need the Ice 90 instead.

    So is this Ice 90 better? Moreover, what is an Ice 90 and how is it better?

    The 90 is no better per se, it's just made for notebooks that require more power.

    The iGo 90 only provides power via a wall outlet. It does not afford power via cars nor airplanes, as I understand it. Whereas the iGo Juice 70 will provide power via the 3 said options.

    Dell Inspiron 8600:
    * 1.6 Ghz Pentium M * 1024 MB DDR SDRAM * 60 GB 7200 RPM HD * 15.4" WSXGA+ * Internal Bluetooth * Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 * 4x CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) * ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo 128 MB * Win XP Pro SP2 *

    * Apple 17" PowerBook G4 * 14" Toshiba Tecra 8000 * Apple 14" iBook G4 *

    Interesante...the iGo Juice 90 is no longer listed on thier site. They only have the Ice 90 which only works through a wall outlet...very interesting.
