    What is a good form fitting thin trekking like backpack that is just enough to fit a laptop.

    any suggestions?

    I have always used a Tumi Balance backpack, because I like the way it looks and I like Tumi.

    How big of a notebook are you talking about? a 13" and a 15" will have very different answers.

    12" and smaller?

    At that size you could sling any of those smaller messengers cross-body. For backpack suggestions you could take a look at the arc'teryx blade 15 or booq boa squeeze.
