I have a U3 Sandisk 4GB memory stick and i think it has a virus.

The problem is i cant open it up without right clicking on the drive and selecting the "explore" or "open" button.

I know its a virus'ish problem because my friend had the same thing and he solved it by formatting his mem stick.

HOWEVER! the only problem, which i dont want happening to mine, is that he lost all his U3 programs that came with his memory stick.

Suggestions? If i can back those up too it would be great!

If you think that the drive has a virus, I would think that plugging it into your machine would be a bad idea? Do others agree with me on this?

Go to the sandisk website, download the U3 remover, format the drive then download the u3 installer.
