    Yeah, it should work.

I'd be more concerned about your notebook's AC adaptor. I presume it's rated for 110-250 volts AC? France runs on 240V.

I thought it ratings was a range of Volts meaning anything within that range on the AC adaptor would be fine.

Do I need to worry about volts? I've talked with a few people and they all have said no need to worry at all.

You only need to worry if your AC adaptor is rated for 110V only. Most adaptors designed for international use are rated 110-250V so it should be fine.

Great, Thanks TedJ. I am worry free now, unless there is a surge in power, or a thunderstorm, or she drops it, or she spills coffee on it, or she...... ;)

If you ever travel in Europe you will need to grab some extra protection.....not that type.....electrical type. I have found a great surge protector after many attempts to find a decent adapter. http://www.buytravelconverter.com/detail.aspx?ID=348

It works very well, and now you can have the secure feeling that your equipment is protected.
