Ok here's an idea, i live in a one person appartment, (i am a very lonley man) and i dont want to have to pay for cable. My parents have an extra dvr box in there house that they never use, i want to connect that box to a sling box, stream it onto the network, and then i will be able to pick it up anywhere i have internet on my computer. I am already planning on getting a LCD to double as a HDTV, or vice versa.

Anyone see any flaws in my logic here?

Anyone know about how much resolution will be lossed? and if its a laggy signal?
