I'm looking for a backpack and the biggest thing that I want is a section that opens completely (IE...zipper all the way down where an L is created when open).
I was gung-ho about the wenger maxxum, because the newegg pictures looked like it did this, but the nbr review pictures showed otherwise.
Does anyone know of a bag like this? I would prefer for it to be <$50. It would be nice if it wasn't huge and bulky, too. I currently have a 14" and would like to go to a 12" someday.

Check out the Synergy that I reviewed here. It is supposed to be able to hold 15.4" but I am pretty sure a 14" would work too.
