Ok now I am as careful as possible with my new ASUS G1 but I am about ready to start taking it to other locations. Now it scratches easy which is near unavoidable with it's design.

So my plan is do the best that I can to keep it safe.

I need some good suggestions for a sleeve that will fit its 15.4" screen. Looks are not real important for the sleeve just as much padding as possible!

Also since i'll be on my bike bringing it to other peoples houses and to other locations to work on peoples machines i'll have no room for a computer bag.

So can you suggest a good backpack, looks are also not hugely important. Just needed lots of padding and room for my power supply for external drive and notebook and the drive itself.

I read that you got your notebook from Best Buy, so you didn't get the backpack, correct? I would see if Targus has something you're looking for. I hope Targus has something good enough for you. :)

Ya, you have a good memory! Sometimes I regret it, but as my dad says "no matter what you buy there is always something you feel could have been improved"

Will hit targus, but if anyone comes up with any specific ones i'm all ears.

Take a look at vertival or horizontal brain cell's, also there are special backpack that "connect" either of those sleeves. The anti damage foam is really thick and safe.

    Consider the Kensington Contour backpack.
