I was just wondering...
I am using Vista 64-bit (D'OH!) and, as always, I am having a problem... lol
Ok, so I downloaded the 64-bit drivers for my new G5 laser mouse... I install them... then I restart... and then it just doesn't seem to care that the mouse is installed and plugged in... Vista asks for me to install the driver software... over and over and over...
Any suggestions? Also, I am supra-tired and it is late, so I may be missing something obvious![]()

I just use the windows driver which xp has for the G5. Could be different with Vista. Vista does not like a lot of things, especially the user. It loves to test the owner with stupid messages and it loves to push their patience to the point, where yes damn it allow happens.
Switch back to XP, your problems will go away.
I have 2 G5 laser mouses, (meece) and they both work fine with the preset logitech software drivers.

it seems to be working, the lcd display turns on, then once vista starts loading, the mouse turns off.... ???
It's so weird and frustrating.
