it is a good deal. i think i paid 35+shipping when i got mine early 2008...right after i bought a G9. lol. its a great little mouse pad/mouse combo, but be careful if you use the control side of the exact mat as after a little while the mice feet tend to get caught up on the texture of the mat.

    Wow! $60 for the G9??? That's a great deal.

G9 or the Steelseries Ikari Laser is the way to go. Steelseries surfaces are a good buy, too.

Hah, I loved that magnetically sealed box. I must have opened and closed it a thousand times the day I got it. :p I'm happy to say the mouse itself has been nothing short of fantastic as well. :)

I'm using a Thermaltake Gamma Pad for the mouse. It tracks nice and smooth, has virtually no friction, good surface area and the USB-powered lights are pretty neat too. :p

If you're looking for a keyboard, I'd recommend the Logitech G15. It complements the G9 quite nicely. Also, if you're not afraid of more money, wait for the G19 with its full color screen. If LCDs aren't your thing on a keyboard, the G11 is pretty good too; it's basically the old G15 minus the LCD.
