I really need some gaming headphones but I can decide which are the best, mainly because there are so many conflicting reviews on the internet.

I found this philips look very promising
    Philips SHG8050 Portable Gaming Headphone

I have around $60/100 to spend. I want some bass so I can feel explosions etc.

An replies will be greatly appreciated ..

For that price, I would go with LTB surround sound headphones with mike.

I was about to start a similar thread. Only difference is

    1) I prefer something that isn't too bulky so I can travel with them easily
    2) I'd prefer to spend less than $50, though I'd consider more if it was a great product

I need a mic. Extras like wireless, noise cancellation, surround sound, etc. are nice to have. If something had ALL of those features and great sound quality to boot I'd consider up to $100
