    Hey,
Does anyone have any recommendations for a mouse pad? I'm a very low sensitivity FPS player and I need an over-sized pad for my gaming needs. I'm planning on getting a Razer Deathadder for a mouse, should I get a Razer pad? I was looking at the Razer Goliathus Control, over-sized (444mm X 355mm X 4.3mm), and it seems great but it only ships after the 28th of July. The Razer Mantis also comes in this size, but is it a better or worse pad? The reason I'm getting a pad is because I travel a fair bit (I'm on a lappy) and would like to have the same surface for my mouse wherever I go.
    Thanks for your help,
    Flicker.

I've only heard good things about the Razer pad. But to be honest, I think it's all bs. I do fine with a $5 mousepad, you should see my xfire lol. I've been banned from many servers for "aimbotting," I didn't know a mouse and keyboard were aimbots. The skill lies with you, you need nothing. ;)

Not true. If you would have read his post, he is a low sensitivity player, much like me, and I need a wide mouse pad, or I go off of the edge. Don't really know what boasting about your "Uber-skillz" had to due with anything, but ok.

I just use a Fragmat. Got it at Gamestop for $4.99. It's a World of Warcraft one, but it's about double the width of most, and works perfect.

What about a NOID ( NoIdentity) pad?

    I've got a NOID Black meself (400 x 280mm / 1.35mm thick).
Despite it's size... it's flexible enough to be rolled up (handy in your case)... and in fact it's supplied in a tall, sturdy, round container, of about the same size as you get a bottle of malt whisky in ;)

Dunno if they're available in the USA/Canada etc though - if that's where you're from?

You should look into SteelSeries SteelPad line. The S&S is ~12x14 inches. The 5L is ~16x12 inches. I bought the 5L for a Razer Copperhead a few months ago. It's a very good pad, a nice large size, and helped cut out surface problems with tracking. They are pricey though; I got one off ebay for ~15 if I remember correctly (which was a good deal).

Thanks for the responses, I'll check out the pads you suggested. I spoke with a friend yesterday though and he said the Razer Mantis was the way to go, and it comes over-sized.

Edit: Yes, I live in Canada.

Get Everglide Titan or Steelseries QCK Heavy. all use Fibretek nowadays.

Razer mantis is fine ..i use it.. advantage is that it looks great.
