I have the Sensei but I bought this only because I saw pro teams/players such as navi using the Sensei. I have no idea if its a sponsorship thing only but in your opinion what is the best mouse for games like DOTA 2? I am planning on getting a Deathadder 2013 or a Taipan. I feel that the sensei is somewhat too large.

Some info that can be of use I am only 5'7 and I travel alot(from my dorm during schooldays to my condo on the weekends and i keep my mouse keyboard and laptop in a backpack)

any advice or help would be highly appreciated. thanks!

I like that you're looking into wired mice. They are far superior to wireless mice.

My advice is to specifically look for mice with an optical sensor (not laser). Optical sensors are far more tolerant of "imperfect" mousing surfaces (laser mice only reliably track well on mousepads). Optical mice are less expensive. And optical mice have more than enough DPI for what you need (DPI above 1600+ is useless).

I suggest you get a Logitech G400 or Razer DeathAdder. Between those two, I would prefer the Logitech G400. It is a light, center-balanced mouse with low drag profile, and fits smaller hands slightly better than a Razer DeathAdder. Depending on the discounting / pricing in the Philippines, you should be able to find one for about the equivalent of $40 - $60 USD.

MOBA games can usually take advantage of MMO mice such as the Logitech G600, though that might be out of your price range.

too much side buttons. I owned a the 1st run of naga and was not satisfied with it. it also gave me random double clicks on the left mouse button. I think 2 side buttons will suffice.

Thanks for the input about the sensor stuff cause i dont know a thing or two about it.g400 is cheap around 1200 philippine pesos and the new Death adder around 3300. I think i might go for the Death adder just because I have the blackwidow and I also like the green razer lights but i would get to save alot of money if i get the g400.

The Deathadder might be a good choice if you have small hands, my sister loves hers and has an extra in reserve because it's one of the better mice for smaller-handed people. Most gaming mice are made for men with large hands.
