    Hey all.

I'm new to laptops, and the forum, but do have a question.

I am interested in a gaming controller.

I guess a joystick type device, maybe an Xbox controller.

    Any suggestions?

My kids play SIMS, Tiger Woods golf
I play Call of Duty (only on 2), Medal of Honor, and the aforementioned TW golf.

BTW, my laptop is still being built, so I am sure I'll have more questions.

    Thanks

    Broktun

i think those x box controllers are kind of over rated. i would get something from saitek since i mine from a few years ago is still working great. saitek makes very good controllers.

I'll personally recommend the Logitech cordless Rumblepad. It has stellar battery life, excellent range and its extremely durable.

I prefer a PS2 controller. The adapter I use is http://mayflash.com/pc/pc038/pc038-1.htm works perfectly with two PS2 (or even PS1) controllers. Also works with DDR dance mats if you ever get the urge :p

Works quite nicely for Trackmania United Forever, and N64 games.

Actually if you want a converter I have 2 of them brand new unopened at home that work 3 way, gamecube, n64, & PS2 controllers work with it 100% on PC.

Id sell them cheap since I do use my xbox 360 controller.

Just to throw in a different idea.
Anyone tried the Logitech Chillstream controller?
Looks quite nice - although wondering if the fan would actually make any real difference (with it having to be so small and all).
