Ok guys i want a mouse under 200 dollars,
preferablly wired, and i have big hands (you know what they say about big hands)
I know a lot out there but i wanted your opions to be able to get a mouse that pwns pwns pwns and pwns![]()
edit:
Forgot to say, this is for FPS like call of duty 4![]()

Get either a Razer Lachesis for FPS games or a Razer Naga for MMO-RPG and maybe even strategy games.
-
$200 will buy you any mouse, Pwns Pwns and Pwns you say?
Hands down the Logitech G700.
If your not into charging up a wireless mouse, then go for the G9X or maybe the R.A.T 7's customizability may suit your big hands. -
I don't think I've ever seen a gaming mouse over $200, so you're in luck there.
If I were you, I'd go for the top of the line and get either the Razer Mamba or Logitech G700. They're both wireless, with 1ms response time, and can be plugged in with a detachable cable for wired use. They have 5,600 and 5,700 DPI, respectively, and more buttons than you'll probably need. -
I would recommend Logitech G700.It performed very well for me.
-
I had the same post up about 7-8 months ago and I was directed to the mouse in my sig. I also have big hands
I can play games and compose music for hours at a time and my hand feels perfectly fine by the time I'm done.
Remember: A mouse that is spiked upwards over a large mouse that is flat can cause carpel tunnel symptoms in the future (as per a euro med report). -
I never liked wireless mouse before until I've owned my very first one, the G700. I really vouch for that one, it's great!
-
i Think i might get the RAT 7, looks very nice and i think it would be good for my pwning skills
But im holding out to buy one till i can play on punkbuster on cod4, =/ -
Don't get me wrong, the RAT 7 looks like the best mouse ever made -
I also really like my G700. It is expensive and the battery life is relatively short, but those are the only real cons (at least for me).
-
The g9x is 42 dollars on slickdeals.net
It's a dented box from logitech. -
never seen a mouse for $200 so any mouse would fit such a budget.
From personal experience I've had the following gaming mice:
from Steelseries - Ikari
from Logitech - G9 and g9x
from Razer - Lachesis, Salmosa, and Abyssus
First, in my opinion, a higher DPI than 3000 or so is useless. So 5-6k dpi is pure hype. I for one could not track better than I could with the 2-3k dpi mice.
Second, the comfort of a mouse is of paramount importance, so you'll have to try whatever mouse you decide to get and see if it fits you, before you even start comparing specs.
For my FPS purpose, the best mouse was also the cheapest, the Salmosa. It was very light and very flat, perfect for my claw grip. The 1800dpi was ample for my needs. -
Logitech G700. It is easily one of the few best mice out there right now.
I have never used wireless mice, but I would not hesitate to recommend the Logitech G700 in a heartbeat. Full-sized mouse, lots of buttons, high DPI, high USB polling rate, can be used in either wired or wireless mode.
I recommend it over the Razer Mamba because the Razer Mamba requires you to carry a large base station with you to use the mouse on the road in wireless mode. The Logitech G700 does not have this bulk, and travels incredibly easily. -
mouse that pwns? you suck at fps -
Logitech G700. Love it.
-
Logitech put features into this mouse that actually make it a better mouse... not useless stuff like LED's or "g4M3rZ" features like gold-plated USB connectors. -
Where is the point of spending so much money on expensive mouse? Logitech has some overpriced mouses lately. Only thing worth at Logitech is their driver support. I was "hardcore" Logitech buyer over past 15 year's and now I realised that their stuff is good, but not worth the money.. you just pay for name/brand...
I bought mx518 in 2005 paid 50 and used it daily 6-8 hours. Only thing that broke.. if you can say that way, is that paint coating worn off. Maybe I got lucky? I retired this MX518 mouse this summer. And bought Gigabyte X 8000. I have no complains over it work's flawles.I highly recommend it!If you are interested have a look here:

Logitech G700 would be a good option..and cost would definitely be a factor to consider!!
-
You could buy me a couple of mouses for that price! But ya as people said, the Logitech G700 is the way to go if your money tree is in full bloom
-
I'm using Mamba and it's quite good. So comfortable, solid, and firm. Not messy looks. Performance is outstanding very very smooth.
But you can always try other brands. the G700 is newer(?) -
I'm using the Razer Mamba as well. I just didnt like the feel of the G700 at all.
-
-
G700 FTW with the Mamba a close second. -
You can even add a good mouse pad for your expensive mouse like Vespula or Destructor. I'm using Mamba and Vespula (rough pad for control, while smooth pad for FPS games).
-
Expensive doesnt mean good. Then again Razer doesnt mean best either.
-
Ok i read some reviews on the G700 and i decided for FPS i probably like it as much as the RAT 7. Same price so I think it is time to go buys a RAT 7.
-
Good choice! =)
