My Razer Carcharias headset begs to differ.I went to this from a Plantronics GameCom 377, and it's definitely better (and more comfortable). It's so light, too. I don't have any of their full size keyboards, but I'm using the Belkin/Razer N52TE keypad, and it's just fantastic.

I ended up buying the Razer Naga. It's got the same internals as the Razer Mamba but has the 12 buttons on the side for MMO games. It's cheaper than the Mamba, but feels pretty much the same. I love the buttons on the side too, even for FPS games. It's so easy to switch weapons, throw grenades, or whatever. Most of the bad reviews for it were because the software sucked. But they just released new software and they allow you to macro anything you want to the buttons now with individual profiles for each game. And for any RPG or MMO with lots of spells and buttons, this mouse is amazing. And the buttons aren't hard at all to get used to on the side.
The one thing I'm worried about is that the pad on the bottom of the mouse is going to wear out. So I bought an eXactmat and am waiting for it to ship from Amazon. I was going back and forth between the eXactmat and the Destructor. Does anyone have any handson time with the Destructor? How does it compare to the eXactmat. I like a really fast surface, but I like the durability of the eXactmat.
And will the eXactmat control side wear out the pad on my mouse?
Also how does the Megasoma compare? On the Razer website it says it recommends that pad with the Naga. How fast is that compared to the speed side of the eXactmat and the Destructor?
Thanks -
The eXactMat's Speed side is wicked smooth, there's virtually zero friction. And I'm sure the Control side will wear your mouse feet down a bit faster, but I imagine that would still be a very slow process. And Razer mice are guaranteed for two years, so that would definitely be covered.

I'm just trying to decide between the eXactMat, Megasoma, and the Destructor. I have no clue which one to buy. The eXactMat is nice because it's metal and you have the option of speed and control. The Destructor is supposed to have the best surface. And the Megasoma is supposed to really nice also. I love the way the Megasoma looks too.
If anyone has tried them all, how would you rate their speed and use? I would probably only play on the speed side of the eXactMat. I like a slick mat, and I want something that looks great and is built to last. -
Hey there, this thread has been dead for a while but I'm gonna bump it instead of creating a new thread for the topic. After reading through the majority of posts in this thread I reached the decision to purchase the eXactMat, unfortunately you cannot buy it from the Razer store online! The only alternative of reasonable price is Amazon and they are back ordered to 1987, so my question is this, does anyone know of a sub 40 dollar mouse pad with an ergonomic wrist rest(Gel or memory foam) that exists?

I am loving eXactMat and this is what I had for a longer period of time now. Nice buy that you got there. It will be worth what you paid for. play online pokies

Razer has replaced the eXactMat with the Vespula, which is essentially the same thing, except made of hard plastic instead of aluminum. It's also a double-sided mouse surface with Speed and Control sides and a gel wrist pad. I have both, and the Vespula is just fine.

im using an exactmat too, the only razer product im using, i like their wide range of mousepads so i got one. I have to say the speed and control makes little to no difference in tracking, both are smooth, but as MasterShroom said control might wear your teflon feet down quicker, it actually did, and when your teflon feet is not so smooth any more, the control side will track better than speed.
