Title says it all, I would like a small good gaming mouse (wired if possible). Any suggestions?

Definitely the Orochi. It's very compact and includes its own little travel pouch, and can connect via Bluetooth or USB cable. It packs 7 buttons and a 4,000 DPI laser sensor, along with 1ms response time in wired mode.

I just got my Orochi and Kabuto mousepad and absolutely love them. This is the first time I've spent more than $10 on a mouse and I have no regrets whatsoever.

Yep. The Orochi also has an on/off switch on the underside if you want to turn it off without plugging it in.

orochi is pretty appropriate, the logitech vx nano is not targeted for gaming but I do not see why it would not work, it seems quality enough to me. I occasionally use it with my netbook.

I trust usb dongle more than bluetooth and its just plug & play.

Though there is no wired mode at all for the vx nano, no reason for it. battery last forever.
