I'm looking for a gaming mouse with a button on the right side in addition to the left side thumb extra buttons. Something similar to this, that way the right side button can be reached by a pinky finger. Something under $70 preferable. I'm not looking for a Dynex mouse, just showing the conceptHas anyone seen/heard of a mouse like this?

Razer Lachesis and Orochi has buttons on both sides. I think you would already know about them but just stating in case, I'm a Razer fanboy ~~

closest i know is a razer lachesis (ambidextrous mouse), but not really designed for the pinky finger Razer Lachesis - Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse | Razer Online Store
interestingly enough while looking for the mouse I was going to suggest I found this one lol.
Evoluent Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Mouse 3 -
No, I actually don't know about those Razer mice, so thanks a lot for advice. Evoluent is not really what I'm looking for, hehe.
The pictures here are terrible, will these older versions also have those ambidextrous buttons? Which one would you chose between them, they seem to both have 4000 DPI.

I'm not a Razer or anybody else's fanboy, so I'm looking for more similar suggestions if they exist. -
The Orochi was never changed at all; there is no "new" or "old" Orochi. When Razer mice are re-released, it's only functional upgrades; the physical design of the mouse remains the same. The Lachesis only changed by going from 4,000 to 5,600 DPI and gaining multicolor LED's; the shape and button layout is not altered.
Between those two, I would definitely get the Lachesis. The Orochi is more of a travel mouse that just happens to be a decent gaming mouse when plugged in, but it's too small to be practical as a main mouse. -
Thanks for your input. The mouse is intended for a female though with small hands, so now I have to think hard about which one to chose.

Just to add to the list, steelseries sensei and steelseries xai.
Newegg.com - Recertified: steelseries 62135 Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Xai Laser Mouse

And several gaming mice from roccat are also ambidextrous. -
the orochi has a wired or wireless mode that uses bluetooth, lachesis is only wired. but end of the day it depends on the form factor, both mice would perform well.

I have to ask even though it's not what you said you were looking for, any reason two thumb buttons instead of one on each side won't work?
EDIT: the tron mouse seems to have two buttons on each side: http://store.razerzone.com/store/ra...parentCategoryID.35208800/categoryId.35210500 so it would also fit the bill. -
Thanks again for suggestions and experiences guys! BTW any reason you guys always link to the overpriced Razer website instead of Newegg/Amazon? Tron costs $55 there, is there any difference between them? Also do any of the big retail chains have those mice on display to play around with? I really wish I had a picture of Orochi, Lachesis, and Tron next to each other, so I could judge their size. -
I'd advise against the orochi if your girlfriend is going to do long gameplay sessions, that mouse was designed for portability and she'll risk arm and shoulder cramps if she plans to use it often for long periods.
This one seems to also have a button on the right side, don't know if it's pinky reachable: Newegg.com - Tt eSPORTS BLACK ELEMENT Laser Gaming Mouse MO-BLE001DT -
Yes, I would always buy Razer stuff from Amazon, as their everyday prices are a good deal cheaper than Razer's own store. E.g. the DeathAdder MSRP is $59.99 plus shipping direct from Razer, but you can get it for $47 and some change with free shipping on Amazon. It's the exact same product.

Roccat Kova+
It's bit bigger than Orochi but really comfortable wired mouse. google for reviews -
I checked out Kova, it seemed very nice as well. I prefer Razer design choices a little more, just a matter of opinion.
Razer Tron Gaming Mouse; world first review by Fatfool (Remain in HWC for a week) - www.hardwarezone.com.sg
After reading this article with awesome size comparison pictures of Tron vs Lachesis, I decided to pick up Tron for its smaller size. Thanks to everyone again for your advice, I think she would be really happy with her new mouse. -
Something with a few more buttons for your liking. I did find the right side button a little unusual to press. Maybe it just takes more getting use to. Amazon.com: SteelSeries World of Warcraft Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse: Electronics
