    my boyfriend's Gateway MA7 won't hold any charge, and we think it's due to damage to the AC Adapter. we're looking for a new AC Adapter, but we need the powered laptop very soon.

    i need some help. i can't seem to find any of this information online.

    where could i buy this ac adapter? i think the gateway model is a little outdated, and is no longer being sold at circuit city (where he bought it).
    what type of ac adapter does this laptop take? size? or where could i find this information?
    could i substitute another ac adapter for this laptop?

    i need to get power into his gateway ASP.

    please help.
