    Hi

My current mouse(microsoft basic optical mouse 10a) is just not sensitive enough for me: the sensitivity is set to the max in windows but it's still not enough. Also, it tends to jump to the corners of the screen. I was looking at the genius ergo 525 laser mouse because it got some very goos reviews. What do you think about it? Would it be better that my current one? I know it's no match for a razer, but i just can't afford more

Laser is the way to go for you: Large DPI + no "jumps." I don't know whether the Genius Ergo 525 laser mouse is a good or bad product, though, but if you saw the good reviews, then go for it.

I just bought a Logitech MX518 from Newegg and I can't be any happier. Very comfortable, very affordable, and performance is great so far. I only use it for my laptop, but since I only unplug it to bring to class, it's very convenient to have a mouse instead of having to use a touchpad 24/7.

I bought it today and it seems very good. It has a 2000 dpi laser sensor, so it's very responsive an fast. The price was about the equivalent of 35 $. All the reviews on the net say it's awesome, but i saw a few posts in romanian forums with people saying that it dies in 3 monhs. That's strange. Mice have no moving parts, so how can it simply die?

Logitech mice, such as the V320, are always reliable.

Yeah, my first ever mouse was a logitech. The darn thing's working even after 4.5 years of use!

So far i really like this genius: great design, very cmfortable and precise. The strange thing is it's price: less than half that of a razer:!!! And it still has a 2000 dpi laser sensor, just like a razer. So i don't get it: why so cheap?

I love my Razer, but it definitely has a bit of hype-pricing in the MSRP. I bought my Copperhead for $45 on sale from Newegg, substantially lower than the $70 or whatever the MSRP is. Amazon usualy has Razer products for below retail as well, I think I got my diamondback for $40 when they were brand new.

Don't forget the lights, as well. Razer = lights = l33t = more expensive

:p This is coming from a Razer lover, so take the bias with a grain of salt.
