I've had my old logitech mx 500 for about 5 years now. I'm looking to get a new mouse (probably the VX rev), but whenever I go into the store to test out how they feel, they feel off. Is this because I've gotten so used to my old mouse that nothing would feel right initially? Once I get a new mouse and use it for awhile would it feel better? I was also wondering if the new mice I've tested don't feel right because the surface the store puts them on is at an angle and fairly high up.

I felt that for quite a while... I bought a microsoft laser wireless 5000 after using a Logitech MX1000 for over 4 years...the thing I could never adjust ( it was just poop) then went back into the store and snagged a G5 and had time to adjust but now I have. I would just go wth what ever feels best at the time.

I think I have the same problem. I use a microsoft standard wireless optical mouse. I got a new mouse and when I used it playing halo 2, I found it very hard to snipe. I think that it takes getting used to. And if you don't adjust to a new mouse, get a another one.

I went from an MX510 (oldschool!) to the MX rev and VX rev and adapted quite quickly. I think you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Which do you think is better, the MX or VX rev? Thanks for the responses.
