    Can anyone direct me to a decent, cooling pad for a widescreen 17" Dell inspiron 1720 notebook?

    newegg.com has many coolers w/ extensive user reviews from actual owners. you'll likely find what you're looking for.

    im gunna spend ~$40 and get the first one i mentioned off ebay in a few hours. only need something cheap to lower my temps

    i have a targus cooler that I got from Dell.com,it is smaller than the laptop but it does an excellent job it also came with 1gb thumb drive,all for $38.The cooler alone in retail is $40+

    Ive decided on the Zalman NC-2000 as it's suited for the 17" laptop. I'll let you know when it arrives and write up a small blurb. Thanks for your reply.
