Hi guys, I'm getting an NP5793 in a couple of months (it's a 17 inch laptop) and I'm going to buy it for college, so I may also be replacing my trusty ol' backpack that's lasted me through high school but is looking a little worn.

What kind of backpack do you guys think I should get? Price probably won't be too big of an issue, but I don't want to spend like $200 on a backpack ;)

Also, should I get one of those "sleeve" type of things?

Please include stores to buy from and reputations of stores or whatever.

    Thanks :)

well i used to have a Vostro 1700 which is built like a tank and I used the Swiss Gear Wenger Pegasus bag and it is a great backpack. But I sold my Vostro 1700 to my dad last month when I got my new XPS m1530 so I picked up the Swiss Gear Wenger Sphinx to carry that around and now I am selling the Pegasus.

posted a thread in the BST forums here. Let me know if you are interested!

no problem. I would still recommend this backpack. I've seen them at the local circuit city and best buy has a few of the 15.4" backpacks here. You should go have a look if you want to get first hand experience with them. It was like love at first sight for me!

    Good Luck!

    How about a Pakuma?
    http://www.pakuma.com/products/products.htm

They have got a cocoon padded pocket to put your laptop in. The inside of the bags are light grey making it easy to find stuff quickly.

I got one because it does look like a back pack more than a laptop bag. (Akara K1)

I have a Sager NP5791 which the same thing as the 5793 minus the 8800m. I lug it around a Targus Flare which fits it like a glove, has plenty of space leftover for all my other crap, and has orange trim that matches the 5791 perfectly. I love it.
