Looking for quality headset with plug and play USB compatibility
Planned on using this for PC and PS3
Was looking at this
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...t_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance
But I believe the USB is power source only
I'd appreciate any help

Seems more like the type that plugs into a headphone and mic jack with USB as power source. Take a look at the SteelSeries 5H v2.

masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
it looks like junk for $50.
(the OP link)
not saying that $50 can't get a good headset, just that the one you picked is probably not the best for $50. -
Yea that audiofx2 does not look very reliable. Check out newegg they have some good ones with reviews.

I have this: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-JUG...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1242760636&sr=1-1
Had it for about 18 months now, 6 months ago it broke but M$ actually sent me a new one, no questions asked. I still have the old one laying around though lol. Picked it up for $19.99 when it was on sale locally, can't really complain about it. -
I have the Logitech Stereo USB Headset 250 and it is pretty good. I never used it for online voice chat or gaming but I did record some stuff with it and am pleased. I really don't think you could be disappointed if you bought them from this eBay this. They are used but come at a great discount.
I don't know what is important to look for in a headset, but I like the Logitech because it sounds good (to me; I had to use it for music for a while when my headphones went out), it's comfortable, and the brand name is trustable. -
There is a nice Logtech one - 30 Pounds on Amazon UK - I think its "Clear chat pro" or something like that and has a USB slot.
Got that ordered for my grandfather- good sound from the micrphone - at leat I think so.
Good Budget USB Headset
