Which pair of earbuds is the best:
Creative Ep-630
MDR-EX51LP
Jbuds Hi-Fi noise cancelling
-
-
I'd recommend the Creative EP630. They offer richer sound.
-
I also have a pair of EP-630 s, and I’m very pleased with the quality (especially considering the price).
-
Creative is generally good on sound quality. So I'd go with them as well.

I second V-moda. I have a pair I use regulary for gym/ipod/computer/satellite radio, etc. Although the first pair I bought the one side quit working, they replaced them promptly (it cost me $1.65 to mail them back) and they have worked beautifully ever since.
You do have to break them in a bit, but I don't think I'll be buying any other brand as this is the best acoustics I have ever gotten on earbuds....caveat, they are "in-ear" buds and come with three sizes of covers so you can fit them well. -
Check out the Sony MDR-EX85. They are a great pair of earphones but it also depends on what you are using it with.
-
As long as you stay away from skullcandy and other really cheap ones you'll be fine.
-
might just be me though. much better quality sound/comfort than ipod headphones so it was an upgrade for me lol -
-
look into yuin pk2 and yuin pk1 for earbuds.
-
i have the ep630s too and they sound great, haven't broken so far after about 6 months.
-
Q-jays, Futuresonics Atrio M5, Shure SE530, UE11. Just depends on what you want to spend.

I had a shure se110 and they were wicked..and its warranty made it better...what happened was my cord ripped through intense use and they replaced it with a new one..but i also could exchange it for a higher model and a new 2 year warrenty...
so now i have the se210 and they are alot smaller and lighter.. the sound quality is better a bit. I am prob going to just wait for them to break then upgrade them..... -
how about Bose? I know they have one for less than $80.
-
As a general trend bose is over priced. For the price they charge you can always find something that will out perform it.
-
I have taken my friend's triports and compared them to my Ety's, and the Ety's far outperform. -
-
I have UltimateEars Super.Fi 5 Pros. My gf has the Super.Fi 3s. They are excellent earbuds. And with the foam tips, they are incredibly comfortable and quite secure in your ear.
-
I'd look into Shure E2c earbuds if they are still available. I've had these for about a year now, and am very impressed at the sound balance. There's no overpowering bass, so you want to look elsewhere if you're looking for that. This has great build and sound quality and does a nice job with sound isolation.
-
I use the earburds that came with my Sony Ericsson W810i phone . Kicks all standard and even some amateur speakers right off their benches.
-
wanna best sound quality?
use mine..
it's Shure SE530 ^^ -
well, out of the three the thread starter selected the jbuds are probably the best for the price. Though the quality could use some work as my old pair died after about half a year. I bought another pair without any thought right after.
-
Ok, if your looking for great sound, go with Ettys - they are reference quality plus they have excellent sound cancellation.
-
-
-
but UE-11 cost twice the price...(retail = $1150)
it's not necessary to spent that much money for earbuds, isnt it?
so for me SE530 still have the best value...
but that's just me... ;p
lol -
You guys would spend 1000$ on earbuds? that`s insane, you can get the cheapest Sony Ericsson W series with earbuds and use those, they`re awesome and have good clear loud bass.

Westone UM2 is awesome. The Yuin PK1 and PK2 are awesome too, probably better sounding, but they're not really in-ear so they don't have that "seal" that makes IEMs so attractive. Shure IEMs are great too. Choosing headphones are all subjective man. They all sound good, and the differences between them usually aren't that great.
-
The Super.Fi line is great. My gf has some of them.

You should probably look at this website: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15243
I own the sennheiser cx300's and they're great. I've had them for about a year, moderate-heavy use, no dammage. They have great sound, but have annoying microphonics (transmitting noise through the wire to the ears like a stethoscope).
If you want some cheap earbuds, these http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4305
are only $4.35 and have crazy bass. They're decent quality, but take about a month to ship. -
@Tankafrank, thank you for the link! now I know what to buy next. jays q-jays. +rep!
-
-
razer m|100's aren't bad IMHO....
-
Stupid earbuds! They ruined last years labor day weekend for me. They gave me the worst ear infection possible. I had slimy goo coming out of my ears for weeks! Every time i wear them i get an ear infection.
-
May be they are too big, try to get smaller ones.
Good Earbuds
