I'm looking to buy a decent wireless mouse for gaming, I prefer laser, but optical is fine.
Budget <$59
I'm also looking to buy a good cooling pad for my notebook.
Budget <$29
Thanks!

Is this mouse going to be portable, or is it going to sit at a desk? If it is going to be portable, then the Logitech VX Revolution might be worth the few extra dollars.
Cooling pad: I reviewed two here in the cooling guide. The Spire Pacific Breeze will give you the most cooling for your money but is loud as I noted in the review. -
Zalman NC-1000 has very good idea for a cooling pad and looks good too. Bytecc NC-500 is rated very high in Newegg.com and is also very cheap.

Well what I worry about wireless mouses is the receiver....I really dont want a large one.
I look into the Logitech VX. -
Look for the Logitech G7 laser mouse. Sometimes Logitech offers it with a rebate that will bring it to less than $30 ($80 MSRP). By all accounts the G7 is a wireless successor to the wired and immensely popular G5.
Of course, I use a wired MS Intellimouse Optical and I still kick ass in games.
As for the cooling pad, my S96J sits on a Targus Chillpad which was free after rebate. It's a bit small for a 15.4" notebook, but with it on NHC shows around a 2C difference in HDD and CPU temperature. Again, browse the web for the Targus Chillpad for best prices. -

I have a VX revolution and it works wonderfully. Its just a tiny bit smaller than a full size (no where near as small as any other notebook mouse). The reception is perfect even from 10 feet away (I occasionally play BF2 on a 37" tv lol). Definitely worth $30 or so. Oh and the receiver is small and can tuck away into the mouse.
